About me:

I need to share some info about me for potential participants / partners / funders for my pantomime melodrama about climate justice. My upcoming/current/most recent work includes:

Mar 2020: BMW Tate Live, Tanks, Tate Modern.
Vocalist in group performance. The lead artist is working within a practice of proximity and time. I was selected at audition. Rehearsal and performances upcoming.

November 2019: Theatre Director training by Extant for visually impaired practitioners in association with the Young Vic
I’ve was excited to be selected for these Pathways workshops, which may lead into ‘a bespoke course in 2020’.

Current: Hear Differently: participant in project with Instasonus, involving multiple departments in UCL composers and musicians on how / whether visually impaired people hear differently.

July 2019: Green Screen Charivari. Selected as Participant in Live Arts Development Agency residential project in Leeds
Including set-design, creating costumes, acting in filmed green screen interior and street Charivari parades.

May 2019: Deathbed Skiing. Part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe, at Tara Arts.
At the post-event review, 53% rated the event as excellent – the rest thought it was good

  • The performance started on the side of a mountain, and ended in a luscious Fruiting Forest of Dreams
  • Director and producer. I wrote the words (which I performed), sourced video, created digital art, and organised the tech support and funding for this.
  • I also choreographed a professional dancer for the section which I wanted a male performer for; and sourced live music for interludes.

Dec 2017 – Jan 2018: Participant in workshops and multiple performances at the Showroom Gallery following Dawn Breaks
Each participant directed, acted and set-designed our own productions, culminated in Free Flow Fictioning
I worked on ‘How we see Beauty’, as well as the beginnings of Deathbed Skiing
