Pants down for equality

Paralympians might be  ‘superhuman’. But just like other disabled and non-disabled people, even Paralympians need to pee. Recent news stories about a Paralympian forced to wet herself on a train underlined how very even the most basic toilet access is, even for Paralympians.

Unfortunately, this wont be the first or last time that ‘wetting’ has happened.

But Paralympians can – and clearly do – get media coverage.

There are already lots of toilet activists out there – calling for action. I love #PantsDownForEquality. And cant quite decide / maybe dont want to think about what @SazBrisdion (on the left below) is dressed as.

So can the media profile of Paralympians push toilet access up the agenda?
